Drogba Delivers Chelsea's Double

Chelsea won for the first time in their club history ‘a double’ after defeating Portsmouth with 1-0 at Wembley yesterday. The double means that Chelsea managed to win the Premier League and the FA Cup in one season. To celebrate this historical accomplishment the players and support staff will take part in an open top bus parade, starting at Stamford Bridge Stadium. Tens of thousands of people are expected to join the victory parade with the Cheslea players. The victory celebration will take an hour. Some roads along the route are closed to avoid the parade. For fans who do not want to line the streets, Chelsea made it possible to watch the parade on a big screen at Eel Brook Common.

My opinion:
I think it was a huge task for Portsmouth to win this match, they were the underdog from the start. Although they managed to get to the final, so they were not totally hopeless. Portsmouth was under siege during the first half but still they managed to keep their goal clean. Boateng ( Portsmouth) had a huge opportunity to lead the game but he failed. His effort was blocked by the feet of Cech (Chelsea). Right after that showed Drogba (Chelsea) why he is such an amazing striker. Through a free kick made he the double real. This was the sixth FA Cup in 105-year history.

Car Bomb In New York's Time Square

What could have been a deadly event has been prevented. Police officers and professional workers have worked together to dismantle a improvised car bomb at New York's busiest tourist area, Times Square. The facts are that a t-shirt vendor alerted a police officer early in the morning around 6:30 a.m. He observed the car and smelled gunpowder. They evacuated the area. Later on, the bomb squad arrived and they checked the car and they found an explosive device. They found propane tanks, fireworks, petrol and a clock device in the vehicle. Janet Napolitano's reaction: "We're treating it as if it could be a potential terrorist attack,".

My opinion:
I am shocked by hearing this. I can not think about what could have happen. Luckily they prevented it and they took any cause to make sure that everything went right. I wasn't aware that this could happen in America. It is the first time I hear such a thing like that. What worries me the most is that everybody now knows what he or she needs to make a bomb. The spokesman was very detailed about what the bombsquad founded. It was almost as I was watching DIY.

Who Would You Vote For?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/election_2010/8515961.stm#subject=foreign&col1=conservative&col2=labour&col3=libdem

Who would you vote for if you were a citizin of England. Who would you vote for if you had the opportunity to chose between Tories, Labours or the Liberals? I would chose for the Liberal Democrats. You want to know why? I can relate to their subjects and I think that their issues are the issues we need to focus on as a country. The Liberals are very clear on which issues they want to focus. The most issues have to do with supporting laws, memberships, policies, rights etc. As a country you need to worry about Foreign and Home Affairs and the way they chose to make that difference appeals to me. They try to find a solution for problems in their country as well in other countries. I say that we are ready for a new, fresh wind of politicians who know what has to be done to get England back on track.
