A three year old child was at a party at the Dorothy Stringer playgroup on Saturday. The little boy saw an animal’s tail sticking out under the building next door, also known as the Dorothy Stringer High School and tried to stroke it. The tail belonged to a fox and they say that the fox attacked the little boy. He was bitten in his arm. His relatives took him to the hospital after this incident. The boy has been treated and released. The little boy was a bit scared after the attack but he is doing ok.
I think it is surprising that a child with this age had the opportunity and time to be attacked by a fox next door. You would think that the staff would be able to prevent this boy from being hurt. How could the little boy have the access to go to the building next door? It is also strange that the environment was known with the foxes, and they did not do anything to bring them and us in safety. I think it is sad that this boy is attacked, this should be prevented. I would not trust the people with my child
