Man guilty of £40m raid on Mayfair jewellers Graff

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/england/london/10322292.stm

A man has been accused of taken part in one of the biggest jewelry robberies in the United Kingdom. The man has been accused of stolen jewelry that is worth £40 million. The name of the man is Aman Kassave who is twenty-five years old. They say that he forced a shop worker with a gun to hand over gems at Graff Diamonds in Mayfair, Central London, last August. He is guilty of conspiracy to rob, kidnapping and possession of a firearm. They have verdicts on six other defendants, they all claim to be innocent.

I think that this is an huge relief for the shop workers because these people used a lot of violence try getting these gems. What would be the right punishment in case this man is the perpetrator? They should lock this man up for at least 5 years. The shop worker is probably traumatised. What would happen if he was killed? I can not imagine what I would do if I heard that my father was shot because one man tried to rob him or his shop. It is so rude of people trying to rob them because they actually work for their money. It is truly un-respectful.

Youths throw man through window in Hampshire

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/england/hampshire/10364293.stm

A twenty-nine year old man was attacked after he asked a group to keep the noise down. This kind of violence happens rarely but this was a sustained and vicious attack. The man was beat to the ground, thrown through a window and after that repeatedly punched. The man suffers serious cuts to his arm and minor head injuries. He has been taken to the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford. The perpetrators were caught after the officers arrived at the crime scene. This incident happened in Birch Close, Bordon. The Hampsire police have stepped up patrols in the area.

I am outrageous. I can not believe that they attacked and hurt the man so badly. Why would you hurt someone who only asks you if you can keep the noise down? If I was a member of the crew I would never react like that. I would prevent my friends from hurting someone. I do think that they should be thrown in jail. This kind of behaviour can not be tolerated. You should be ashamed of yourself. I hope you get beaten up by yourself. Have some dignity! I hope that the next time that someone makes to much noise around my house I am able to tell what happened.

Alfie Is NOT The Father

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2435283.ece

The little boy Alfie Patten believed that he had become Britain’s youngest dad after his girlfriend Chantelle Stedman gave birth to a daughter. DNA tests proved that the teenager Tyler Barker is the father. The little Alfie proudly told the world that he would take care for his newborn girl. He was extremely distressed when he found out that he was NOT the father. All his vows would not matter anymore. He promised to bring up the child and be good. The new father, Tyler Barker, said that he would take care for the three month-old baby in the future.

What a bummer,Alfie. You are not the father. Another boy stepped up the plate and you got to go. Go ahead, leave, It is better for your youth. You do not want to be a father. I can assure you that you rather have a tantrum about not going out afther eight o'clock than controling one of a new born. I also think that people should watch their child more often because this is awful. I can not believe that you would let the boy get away with this. Any of them! My parents would kill me if I would tell them that I made someone pregnant

What's it all about, Alfie? 13 year-old fathers a child

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/whats-it-all-about-alfie-13-yearold-fathers-a-child-1609171.html

Alfie Patten, a thirteen year old boy, with child-like features was revealed as a new dad in the Sun. He looked untouched by puberty although his girlfriend, Chantelle Steadman, who is fifteen years old, gave birth to a daughter. They named the baby Maissie Roxanne. The baby was born on Monday nine February 2009 at Eastbourne Hospital, East Sussex, near where they both live. When the little boy was exposed as the dad found the little boy himself at the centre of a storm of moral anger, especially when the Sun took an interview with the boy.

A thirteen year old boy becomes father?! I can not believe what I hear. How is that possible? The boy looks really like he is incapable of taking care of himself what would you think about the baby? They had an interview with the boy and they asked him what he was going to do financially. He did not even know what financially was. I can not blame the boy for that. I do blame the boy for making the girl pregnant! How could he let this happen? Behave yourself! I think he is grounded for life, I would do it.

Child aged three bitten by fox at playgroup in Brighton

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/england/sussex/10363646.stm

A three year old child was at a party at the Dorothy Stringer playgroup on Saturday. The little boy saw an animal’s tail sticking out under the building next door, also known as the Dorothy Stringer High School and tried to stroke it. The tail belonged to a fox and they say that the fox attacked the little boy. He was bitten in his arm. His relatives took him to the hospital after this incident. The boy has been treated and released. The little boy was a bit scared after the attack but he is doing ok.

I think it is surprising that a child with this age had the opportunity and time to be attacked by a fox next door. You would think that the staff would be able to prevent this boy from being hurt. How could the little boy have the access to go to the building next door? It is also strange that the environment was known with the foxes, and they did not do anything to bring them and us in safety. I think it is sad that this boy is attacked, this should be prevented. I would not trust the people with my child

Three dead babies found in a house

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/merseyside/8235224.stm

The remains of three dead babies have been found around a premises at Merseyside. When the police was called to a property at St. Helens on Sunday they did the discovery. Three adults have been arrested because they have been connected with the murder case. Two women, 54 and 38 years old and a 26 year old man. The police beliefs that the remains are from the mid 80’s. The police would do forensic tests on the babies to examine the sex and age of the babies. This is a deep and sad lost.

I am only thinking about what happened to these kids. How could that happen. Why should someone kill a baby. A baby is defenseless. It cannot harm you. I hope that they find the murderers and put them before trial. Who would hide death babies in their attic. Only sick-minded people would do things like that. These days you hear all crazy things on the news. What would you do if it was your baby? I believe that this will be a complex investigation and I am curious how this will end, if it ends at all. Losers!

A man was arrested in Essex

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/england/essex/10309907.stm

The police arrested a man who barricaded himself inside in Essex. The officers were called to Lancaster Way in Braintree to find a man who had shut himself in a flat . The armed police entered the property and shortly after that the forty-three year old man was arrested on suspicion of affray. No one was hurt and there were no other people in the flat. The pupils from the local nearby school were instructed not to leave the premises during the arrest. For pre-cause had they closed down the street and they provided safe access routes for parents who were collecting their children.

I do not understand why this particular man would do these things to himself. He had definitly some problems but still no need to act like that. Any way, was this man a real threat for the community? I am happy to hear that nobody was harmed during the arrest but it could turn out the other way. I happy that the police acted so quick to the happening and that they took the special emergency measures to prevend violent behavior.

Paul Gascoigne involved in a car crash

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/england/10309517.stm

The famous Paul Gascoigne who once was a star of England’s 1990 world cup team has had a accident. The ex footballer is recovering in a hospital in Newcastle after a car crash in Newcastle upon Tyne. The accident happened at Sandhill on the city’s Quayside on Sunday. A Vauxhall Astra was involved with the accident. The car is thought to have left the road and hit a signpost. A thirty-six year old woman has been arrested on suspicion of drinking and driving but she was bailed. The doctor said that he was in a comfortable condition and that he would stay in the hospital for a few more days.

I think that this accident could have been prevented and I believe that we are lucky that everybody got off smoothly. We also could lost one of England’s greatest ex football player. It was clear that the woman in the car was driving to hard. Everybody was happy that the local pubs helped out the people who suffered from the accident including Gascoigne. The people pulled out the woman and called emergency services. After the woman was send to the hospital she was early discharged. The accident happened near to Tyne bridge.

Teenager molested women

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article7143844.ece

A fourteen year old boy sexually assaulted women on a tourist trail in North-Devon. He walked behind them covering his face with a hood, so he could not be recognized and then he touched their buttocks for example. As a result that the women were all scared to go alone outside. He attacked four women in December and January. The young boy’s motive was: “It excites me”. The judge sentenced the boy to a high security unit in Bristol after he admitted four sexual assaults. All women are happy that this young sex offender is from the streets, they all can walk at night and not feeling frightened.
This is a young sex offender in the making. Watch this boy because in a few years you’ll say: “Yep, there goes the neighborhood, slipping through his filthy-he-touched-women-ass-smelling-hands.” He already lost his youth, because normal kids do not play games, pull tricks like that! I think that the police and judges should keep an eye on him because sexually attacking women because its fun and exciting is the sick mind of a paranoid child. I feel sorry for him, I hope that he wont break out of prison because the next step is rape!

Massacre in Crumbia

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article7143834.ece

Summary:
There was a huge massacre in Cumbria on Wednesday. Twelve people were killed and 11 were wounded. A fifty-two year old man named Derrick Bird caused bloodshed through the whole town. The perpetrator used a .22 rifle and a shotgun. Seven of his victims will stay in the Crumbia Hospital, three are stable and four are comfortable. The last person who stayed in a hospital near Newcastle is also in a stable condition. After Bird committed his crime he shot himself through the head. There is only one question that has to be answered: What were his motives?

Opinion:How could that man do a thing like that? He was already convicted for a crime in the 90’s, he was given a 12-month suspended jail sentence. How is it possible that a man with a bad record is able to get a legit license to hold firearms. Probably he wasn’t that insane to keep him from possessing a gun lawfully, but look at the facts.. I do not want to say it but, I TOLD YOU SO! People can not be allowed to hold firearms because we always will use it for bad things.

Drogba Delivers Chelsea's Double

Chelsea won for the first time in their club history ‘a double’ after defeating Portsmouth with 1-0 at Wembley yesterday. The double means that Chelsea managed to win the Premier League and the FA Cup in one season. To celebrate this historical accomplishment the players and support staff will take part in an open top bus parade, starting at Stamford Bridge Stadium. Tens of thousands of people are expected to join the victory parade with the Cheslea players. The victory celebration will take an hour. Some roads along the route are closed to avoid the parade. For fans who do not want to line the streets, Chelsea made it possible to watch the parade on a big screen at Eel Brook Common.

My opinion:
I think it was a huge task for Portsmouth to win this match, they were the underdog from the start. Although they managed to get to the final, so they were not totally hopeless. Portsmouth was under siege during the first half but still they managed to keep their goal clean. Boateng ( Portsmouth) had a huge opportunity to lead the game but he failed. His effort was blocked by the feet of Cech (Chelsea). Right after that showed Drogba (Chelsea) why he is such an amazing striker. Through a free kick made he the double real. This was the sixth FA Cup in 105-year history.

Car Bomb In New York's Time Square

What could have been a deadly event has been prevented. Police officers and professional workers have worked together to dismantle a improvised car bomb at New York's busiest tourist area, Times Square. The facts are that a t-shirt vendor alerted a police officer early in the morning around 6:30 a.m. He observed the car and smelled gunpowder. They evacuated the area. Later on, the bomb squad arrived and they checked the car and they found an explosive device. They found propane tanks, fireworks, petrol and a clock device in the vehicle. Janet Napolitano's reaction: "We're treating it as if it could be a potential terrorist attack,".

My opinion:
I am shocked by hearing this. I can not think about what could have happen. Luckily they prevented it and they took any cause to make sure that everything went right. I wasn't aware that this could happen in America. It is the first time I hear such a thing like that. What worries me the most is that everybody now knows what he or she needs to make a bomb. The spokesman was very detailed about what the bombsquad founded. It was almost as I was watching DIY.

Who Would You Vote For?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/election_2010/8515961.stm#subject=foreign&col1=conservative&col2=labour&col3=libdem

Who would you vote for if you were a citizin of England. Who would you vote for if you had the opportunity to chose between Tories, Labours or the Liberals? I would chose for the Liberal Democrats. You want to know why? I can relate to their subjects and I think that their issues are the issues we need to focus on as a country. The Liberals are very clear on which issues they want to focus. The most issues have to do with supporting laws, memberships, policies, rights etc. As a country you need to worry about Foreign and Home Affairs and the way they chose to make that difference appeals to me. They try to find a solution for problems in their country as well in other countries. I say that we are ready for a new, fresh wind of politicians who know what has to be done to get England back on track.

Ryanair retreats over ash victims expenses claims

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/travel/news/article7104605.ece

Ryanair did go through with reimbursing the costs of their passengers who stranded on airports all across Europe. By handling EU regulations they should provide food and hotel costs. Michael O’Leary, the budget airline’s fiery chief executive suggested that only the tickets would be reimbursed. Air regulators were stunned by hearing this. His reply was yesterday, and I quote “I’m pretty sure the regulator will be taking court action against us, and we will look forward to seeing that in court. This is a great opportunity for the airlines to expose this nonsense.” apparently he was in a better mood today. Ryanair took back what they said and would reimburse “reasonable receipted expenses”.

My opinion:
It would be a selfish deed not to reimburse the costs the passengers had to make during their visit at the airport. Nobody wanted this nor foresee the drama. In the end there is always somebody responsible. The joke is on Ryanair this time. I believe that we have a lot of different ways to travel and I wonder why Ryanair did not take any action on using other transport. In the end we all have to pay. The passengers pays for their unwanted visit and Ryanair have to pay certain costs.

Nick Clegg Seizes His moment In Historic TV Debate

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article7099159.ece

Summary:
Nick Clegg, leader of the Liberal Democrats seized his moment to claim victory at the debate between the party leaders yesterday. The Times showed through a poll a stunning victory. In minutes he won 60 percent compared to 22 per cent for David Cameron who is the Leader of the Conservatives a.k.a. the Tories and 17 per cent for the Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Clegg explained to be the alternative for the other two parties. Over 65 years there were only two parties ruling the country. During this debate the Tories and the Conservatives were only busy attacking each other. Clegg: ‘The more they attack each other, the more they sound the same.”

My Opinion:
It is a real innovation for the country that a debate like this is first brought out on air. It is interesting for people who haven’t had interest in politics. Because the Liberal Democrats were out of the position to rule the country for 65 years is it very important that this happened so real change can be brought upon the people.
